If you are thinking about selling or buying airline miles or credit card points, you have more than one broker to choose from. That is a good thing: it means you do not have to take our word for anything. This page is meant to help you compare us against other mileage and points brokers honestly, including where we are still earning your trust.
We are not going to pretend every broker on this list is the same, and we are not going to invent numbers to make ourselves look better. Where a figure changes over time, such as a Trustpilot rating, we link directly to the live page instead of quoting a number that will go stale.
Four Questions to Ask Any Broker, Including Us
Before you transact with any mileage or points broker, ask these four questions. A broker who cannot answer all four plainly is not one to transact with.
- Who pays first, and by what method? If you have to transfer your miles before you see any money, you are trusting a stranger with something that cannot be un-transferred.
- What is the rate, in writing, before you transfer anything? A verbal ballpark is not a quote.
- What is their registered legal entity, and can you verify it? A broker that will not name a real, checkable business is a broker you cannot hold accountable.
- Where can you read reviews the broker did not write themselves? Trustpilot, not a testimonials page they control, is the place to look.

Where We Are Honest About Being Behind
Several of the brokers above have been collecting Trustpilot reviews for years and have review counts in the hundreds or thousands. We do not. We are actively working on that: claiming our Trustpilot profile and asking satisfied customers to leave honest reviews there, not just to us privately. If you have used The Points King and had a good experience, a Trustpilot review helps the next person more than it helps us; if you had a bad one, we would rather hear about it publicly than have it disappear.

The Risk Every Broker Shares
No broker on this list, including us, can make selling your miles or points risk-free. Delta, United, American, Marriott, Hilton and American Express all prohibit the sale or barter of miles and points in their published program terms, and each reserves the right to close the account, deduct the balance, and void award tickets already issued. That risk sits with the account holder, because it is your contract with the program.
