Below are 72 points and miles blogs, forums and tools, every one of which published something in 2026.
I run a miles and points brokerage, so I read these sites every week. They are where program changes show up first. For this update I opened every blog on October 15 and 16, 2026 and checked the date of its latest post. Anything that had gone quiet was cut, and you will find those at the end. I left off companies that buy or sell miles, including mine; this list is for learning, not for selling.

These are the sites with the largest audiences. If a program devalues, a transfer bonus launches or an airline changes its award chart, these sites usually report it the same day.

Who runs it: Founded by Brian Kelly; Summer Hull, who ran Mommy Points, is now a senior content director there. Read it for: Mainstream points news, credit card reviews and the monthly points valuations that many people (including me) use as a reference. It also runs a UK section for British readers. Deal finders and award search tools that publish blogs
Some of the most useful travel points blogs belong to tools. Award search engines and fare alert services publish what their data shows, which makes their posts unusually concrete.

Who runs it: Dan Eleff. Read it for: Hot airfare and card deals, mistake fares and an active forum. Very high posting volume; the forum is a community of its own.
28. Thrifty Traveler
Who runs it: A Minneapolis-based team. Read it for: Cheap flight and award deal alerts plus news. Also sells a paid premium alert service.

Who runs it: Founded by Scott Keyes as Scott’s Cheap Flights. Read it for: Cheap cash-fare alerts. The blog lives under the name On the Fly.

Forums are not blogs, but most blog posts start as a data point someone shared in one of these places.

Who runs it: A Reddit community. Read it for: Crowd-sourced help with specific award bookings.

Who runs it: A Reddit community. Read it for: Card churning data points and daily discussion threads.
72. AFF Community
Who runs it: Australian Frequent Flyer. Read it for: Qantas and Velocity discussion.
How to use these blogs without drowning in them
There is far more points content than anyone can read. This is the routine I recommend:
- Pick one news site and one strategy blog. One Mile at a Time or The Points Guy for news, and Frequent Miler or Doctor of Credit for strategy, covers most of what changes in a given week.
- Add one blog for your home country and one for your main program. A Delta flyer should read Pizza in Motion, a British Airways flyer Head for Points, a Lufthansa flyer meilenoptimieren or reisetopia.
- Use a feed reader or BoardingArea instead of visiting twenty homepages.
- Check data points on FlyerTalk or Reddit before you act on a sweet spot. Blogs report what worked for one person on one day.
- Remember that most of these sites earn money from card referrals. That does not make them wrong, but it explains why so many posts end with a card recommendation.

Older lists of the best frequent flyer blogs still include these names. As of October 2026, none of them is publishing regularly:

- God Save The Points: nothing new since July 2025.
- Wandering Aramean: last post in February 2024. Seth Miller now writes at PaxEx.Aero, listed above.
- Mommy Points: the site no longer loads. Summer Hull now works at The Points Guy.
- Travel Miles 101: last post in March 2024.
- Saverocity: no new content since late 2024.
- Points Insider: last post in November 2025.
- The Miles Guy and Deals We Like: last posts in 2025.
How this list was checked
Every blog here was opened on October 15 or 16, 2026, through its homepage or its RSS feed, and had published at least once in 2026. Most had posted the day before. I dropped 31 sites that were inactive, unreachable, parked or could not be checked. I left out any company whose business is buying or selling miles. If a blog on this list goes quiet, or you think one is missing, tell us and we will check it for the next update.

Yes for news and for its monthly points valuations, which many sites use as a reference. It is also the most commercial of the big blogs, so read card recommendations with that in mind.

Yes. The best are German: meilenoptimieren, reisetopia and InsideFlyer DE. In English, One Mile at a Time and Head for Points cover Miles & More changes when they happen.
Is FlyerTalk a blog?
No, it is a forum. It is still one of the most useful sources, because many blog posts start from a data point someone shared there.
Is Million Mile Secrets still active?
